Jill Crook is appointed as our new Lay Member

We’d like to say a big welcome to Jill Crook who has been appointed as our new Lay Member responsible for nursing quality. Here’s a message from our Chair, Dr Peter Jenkins:

‘Taking over from Mary Monnington as our Registered Nurse – Lay Member, Jill Crook was successfully appointed to the position on 1 May 2016.

Jill brings with her a wealth of experience and knowledge within the commissioning environment drawn from some 14 years as Director of Nursing within various organisations, most recently with NHS England South.

Jill will be a voting member of our Governing Body and will assume responsibility for ensuring a clinical perspective on health and care issues continue to underpin the work of the CCG. Jill will also be instrumental in providing an essential nursing perspective into the discussions we have regarding service re-design, clinical pathways, system reform and 24/7 care.

Please join me in welcoming Jill to the CCG.’
