Our Governing Body ensures we act effectively, efficiently, economically and in accordance with our constitution. Our Governing Body meets in public every two months, and includes a mix of experienced NHS clinicians, managers and lay members. Learn more about our Governing Body members.
Our constitution sets the foundations for everything we do. It is a formal document that outlines our rules, arrangements and governing principles for commissioning healthcare services for the people of Wiltshire.
We also comply with the NHS Constitution which establishes the principles and values of the NHS in England.
Our constitution was last approved by NHS England in July 2019; and since this time the Scheme of Reservation and Scheme of Delegation have been updated. These can be accessed using the links below:
Joint BSW Governance Handbook
A Governance Handbook has been jointly developed with BaNES and Swindon CCGs to support the new constitution and to provide further details on how the CCG will operate. It is intended as a resource for our membership, our staff, patients and the public.
