The draft dementia strategy for the county has been agreed by Wiltshire Council and NHS Wiltshire Clinical Commissioning Group and is now going out for a three month consultation. People with an interest in dementia, whether through personal or professional experience, are being encouraged to contribute their comments and viewpoints.
The Wiltshire Community Foundation is launching their Surviving Winter Appeal for the fourth year running. Are you an older person who needs additional support to heat your home and eat properly in the cold weather? If you live in Wiltshire or Swindon a surviving winter grant of up to £200 may help. A grant could assist you with topping up your electricity, paying your fuel bill or purchasing oil.
